The minute you arrive at the gate of
The Fishing Lodge
you'll realise it's a very special place indeed, with the mighty
Lough Mask in
full view, lapping at the shore a few feet from the lodge. A
great feature of The Fishing Lodge
is its large glass patio doors looking out on
Lough Mask
giving a picturesque view, which varies throughout the day with
changing light and weather conditions. The grounds are also very
private and peaceful
The rear decking patio facing
Lough Mask is
the perfect spot for relaxing with a meal or a drink and is
illuminated in the evening with an array of downlighters in the
eaves of the lodge. A gas-fired barbeque is available on the
patio, complete with kitchen tool set. There is also a swimming
area with diving board next to the lodge, but should be used
only after taking advice from the owner,

Being so near to
Lough Mask
and with a good amount of trees and bushes in the grounds of the
lodge, there is plenty of wildlife which can be seen from time
to time, including red squirrels, pine martens, otters, wild
mink. And a great variety of birds and wildfowl can be seen both
in the grounds and on the lough
A boat with oars and engine is available
for rent separately, which can be used for both fishing and
